Oaks Townsville Hotel

This was our second time staying at the Oaks Townsville Metropole Hotel, and it was just as delightful as the first! The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, offering a perfect balance of coziness and atmosphere. We especially loved the spectacular view from the balcony — waking up to the serene waterfront and mountains was truly a treat. Everything felt fresh and inviting. The front desk team was friendly and welcoming, and having a great restaurant just a few steps from the hotel made it so convenient. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Townsville — My husband and I will definitely be back again!

Very comfortable room, well appointed. Pleasantly surprised to see there was an ironing board and iron supplied. Also happy with the onsite parking although the spaces are a bit small for the size of cars these days. Mine is just a small sports car and I had a bit of trouble finding a spot that didn't have a bit monster vehicle either side taking up the room they do!

As always as it is not our first stay here but it is our preferred place to stay when we visit townsville. Beds are huge as 1 of is not small but not overly big so the beds are comfortable and big. Small kitchen, washer and dryer, undercover parking so it gives us peace of mind to park our car. Walking distance to football stadium and not a big walk or ride to casino and other nightly businesses.

The room was comfortable and the perfect size for a single guest. I appreciated that it was quiet and loved the water views. Reception took immediate action when I advised the balcony door wouldn't open and it was repaired promptly.
